- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I purchased a Mercedes GL from Steven at LTV a couple of months ago, and so far it has given me nothing but issues. When I took it for a service shortly after purchase they couldnt believe that the car had been sold to me in the condition that it had. All 4 brake discs had metal peeling off the back of them in the area that they make contact with the pads. As a results the rear pads at the rear of the discs were also completely ruined and apparently I only had 60% stopping power. The handbrake would not hold the car on a hill (normally a MOT failure), a pretty big issue for a 2.5tonne vehicle. One of the rear shock absorbers was leaking but had been wiped clean before its MOT. The ride height sensor arms for the suspension were all seized up. Stupidly I paid for these repairs myself as I needed the car working asap. However, less than a week later yet another fault occurred - Air suspension collapsed. This time I asked LTV to pay....and have they? NOPE, not yet.By jamesnapier, August 19, 2018
